There are no hotels in Ossining 😦
Your best bet is staying in Tarrytown, or another cute Rivertown. NYC is also an option – we will have taxis to the train station and it’s about 55 minutes to Grand Central from there.
Unfortunately, nothing is reasonably priced in NYC… But Jake can help you find free housing options via the generosity of his childhood friends, many of whom have room to host people in Ossining. Reach out to him or indicate your need for assistance on your RSVP.
Tarrytown House Estate, Tarrytown NY
Probably your best option. 20 minutes from the party, a very central jumping off point to cute towns in Westchester. Technically walkable from Irvington Metro North Train Station (~40 minutes). Google says it’s a “very good price for a 4-star hotel!”

- Holiday Inn Express, Hawthorne NY (mildly closer to Ossining)

Hotel MTK, Mt. Kisco, NY
Another great option. 15 minutes from the ceremony. Generic nice 3-star vibes, but Hilton awards eligible! Also a cute town and a 20 minute walk from the Mt. Kisco train station. Google says it’s “eco-certified”!
There are a few other hotels within a 20-30 minute radius.
- If you choose to stay in the city, it is very easy and convenient to travel via the Metro North train – ask Jake if you have any questions about this!
- Airbnbs are pretty limited in Ossining, but check it out, you might find something!
- Vrbo seems to have more options then Airbnb
- If you go farther north up the Hudson Valley you could turn it into a lovely fall weekend! It’s prime leaf-peeping season!
